Tonya Sakowicz is the founder and owner of Newborn Care Solutions, the only CACHE-accredited NCS training program in the United States, and is also a former president of the International Nanny Association, a Master NCS, and an INA-credentialed nanny as well as newborn care specialist. A true pioneer in the industry, Tonya has trained thousands of newborn care specialists through various milestones of their careers, and has transformed the knowledge base and professionalism behind this rapidly-growing sector of the private care industry.

Tonya is naturally drawn to self-driven folks who love problem solving, and is the queen of gentle correction and guidance around all things newborn care specialist. She considers herself a verbal and visual problem solver and is highly motivated to guide people to the answer that will work best for them and their business, rather than prescribing universals or one-size-fits-all advice. Tonya is a proud possessor of a “never stop learning” mindset and loves working with people who share those convictions.

Tonya lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband, two adolescent children, and adorable Great Aussidor Grizzly. When she isn’t teaching others how to care for our most precious little ones with a science-backed approach, she can be found SCUBA diving off the coast of somewhere beautiful or leveling up her advanced knitting and gluten-free baking skills.
