Ryan Jordan

Ryan is the founder of Educated Nannies, a nanny agency based in Los Angeles that has won the award for Most Helpful Agency from Red Tricycle. Ryan earned a multiple-subject teaching credential and a Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. In addition to teaching, she spent more than six years as a teacher and full-time professional nanny for high-profile families in LA. and is also a Positive Discipline Parent Educator. She teaches courses to support parents through their first year postpartum and also hosts her own podcast, The Educated Mama. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was profiled by Northwestern Mutual as a female entrepreneur success story of resiliency. Ryan has been featured in the Huffington Post for young entrepreneurs who inspire others, and she was nominated for the LA Business Journal’s Women Making a Difference award.

Ryan describes her communication and consulting style as transparent, supportive, active, motivational, and direct when necessary. She has a passion for education and is a walking compendium of all of the domestic staffing laws in the state of California! Ryan is happy to talk to anyone and everyone, and has a sweet spot in her heart for parents who are learning to balance their entrepreneurial journeys with their family and home lives.

Ryan lives in Los Angeles with her sweet husband, her play-every-sport hilarious son, and her dancing queen artistic daughter. Their rescue pup Sunny is a yellow lab who is the baby of the family. Their family loves to travel, ski, read, bake, play board games, host dinner parties, and have obstacle course nights.
